Pig Floyd’s BBQ is a rustic counter-serve joint that combines traditional barbecue techniques with global flavors, resulting in a unique and unforgettable meal. Urban Tacos, Bento Boxes, Brisket Dumplings and traditional BBQ, you will not get bored from this menu! From the moment we stepped inside, the aroma of slow-smoked meats transported us to barbecue heaven. We couldn’t wait to sink our teeth in!
No, this is not your ordinary BBQ spot. Here you can get your usual favorites, tender brisket to succulent pulled pork….but we quickly noticed the global influence on the menu. We saw amazing tacos, sandwiches, and even Bento boxes. So we ordered a little of everything.
My husband judges every BBQ place by their ribs. So he ordered Pig Floyd’s Sticky Ribs in a Bento Box. The box also had spring rolls, beans and rice, and plantains. One bite of these flash-fried ribs, and you’ll understand why they have gained such a loyal following. The meat practically fell off the bone, and the tangy barbecue sauce adds a delightful kick to every bite.
What sets Pig Floyd’s BBQ apart is their innovative approach to barbecue. They infuse some of their dishes with global flavors, creating a fusion of tastes that will leave you craving more. Of course, we had to try some so we ordered the Brisket Dumplings and Brisket Tostada, both delicious! They even have a Korean-inspired Thai Peanut Taco and a Vietnamese banh mi sandwich. I also got something more traditional, the Pulled Pork Sandwich with Mac and Cheese. I thought the sandwich was very good, but I actually prefer the one at 4Rivers Smokehouse. However, I am curious to try the tacos, I will be going back!
Beyond the incredible food, Pig Floyd’s has a good selection of beers. I had a locally brewed beer from Motorworks Brewery. It was a Sriracha beer called Sweet Heat! Very interesting to have a spicy cold beer!
It’s easy to see why Pig Floyd’s BBQ is a must-visit destination for barbecue enthusiasts and food lovers in Orlando. With their fusion of flavors, perfectly smoked meats, and welcoming atmosphere, Pig Floyd’s offers a dining experience that is truly unique! So the next time you’re craving BBQ, go to Pig Floyd’s BBQ and see why it’s hailed as one of the best barbecue spots in Orlando.
