Experience The Vibrant Flavors of Peru: Pisco Peruvian Gastrobar in Lake Nona

Pisco Peruvian Gastrobar was a new experience for me! I was not very familiar with Peruvian food, but thankfully, our dear friends introduced us to this amazing cuisine! Traditional Peruvian cuisine reflects the influences of indigenous ingredients and techniques, with European, African, and Asian influences. With such diversity, comes an abundance of rich flavor and tasty options. From ceviche to potatoes and steak…so if you’re looking for something new to try, you must visit Pisco Peruvian Gastrobar. Not only is the restaurant stunningly beautiful, the menu is gastronomic bliss. And if you love food, this spot should be on your ‘must-do’ list!

Should you visit Pisco Peruvian Gastrobar?

I really enjoy a beautiful restaurant…almost as much as I enjoy a delicious meal. And the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with a colorful inviting atmosphere that perfectly complements the flavorful dishes you’re about to experience. It blends traditional and contemporary elements, creating a space that’s both comfortable and chic. They even have a small purse/coat rack next to each table…they thought of everything! Pisco Peruvian Gastrobar is not just a restaurant; it’s a celebration of Peru.

The menu at Pisco is a gastronomic journey through Peru. From the tangy, fresh ceviche to hearty parihuela, each dish is a testament to the diverse culinary landscape of this South American country. We started with the Aji de Gallina Croquetas and the Duo de Papas Natives (chicken and cheese croquettes and two types of potato) and Ravioli al Pesto. Every dish was as visually appealing as it was tasty! One of Peru’s most treasured dishes is Ceviche. Something to be noted: June 28th is Peru’s ‘National Ceviche Day’! So, of course, we had to get some ceviche! Ceviche Carretillro was the one we ordered, but that have several on the menu. We also got Parihuela, a flavor packed soup full of seafood. I’m still craving it… Another must try dish was the Pasta Achupetada (fettuccine seafood dish). Just look at these pictures!

But what’s a Peruvian meal without Pisco? This traditional Peruvian spirit is the base for a variety of cocktails at the gastrobar. I got the classic Pisco Sour. We also ordered the beautiful Rainbow Mountain and Pretty and Pink bubble cocktail. I’m a sucker for anything smoked! There’s a cocktail for every palate on this menu. And they have a full bar to make anything your heart desires…
Make sure you save some room for dessert! The chocolate cake was perfection! And I believe the other dessert was called “Experience de Lucuma”.
