The Orlando Happy Hour Playbook: Where Locals Drink for Less (Yes, Even on Weekends)

If you’ve seen my Instagram you know how much I love a craft cocktail. But those add up $$….which is why I created the Orlando Happy Hour Playbook. Also, because most “best happy hour” lists I’ve seen are just a copy-paste of the same old chain restaurants, with times that haven’t been right since 2019!

collaborate with autumn from flamingo in fantasyland blog

This isn’t that.

I checked every spot here against what the restaurant itself is posting right now. And because I know you don’t only get thirsty Monday through Friday, there’s a whole section for weekend happy hours. Those are the Saturday and Sunday deals nobody talks about.

Last checked: November 2026. Happy hours change. When they do, my subscribers hear about it first (more on that at the bottom).

Friendly Advice: Take some time with your friends and catch up….we all need connection and time to build each other up. I know my happy hour dates with friends has made my life richer. (Thank you girls!)

The Quick List: If You Only Remember Five

  • Best Sunday plan: Nomikai by Sushi Saint at ICON Park. Happy hour runs all day, every Sunday.
  • Best fancy-for-less: Corner Chophouse in Winter Park. $10 martinis at a steakhouse, and Sunday’s social hour runs a little longer than the rest of the week.
  • Best Saturday secret: Mathers Social Gathering downtown. Half-off vintage cocktails, and yes, that includes Saturday.
  • Best “I want two happy hours today”: Santiago’s Bodega in Ivanhoe Village. One in the afternoon, one late at night, every single day.

Weekend Happy Hours: Saturday and Sunday Deals

This is the section I wish existed when I started. Every spot below runs a happy hour on Saturday, Sunday, or both.

flamingo in fantasyland blog covers orlando craft cocktails and where to find them

  • The deal: Happy hour pricing on mead. They don’t post exact prices, so ask your bartender.
  • Why go: You’re drinking honey wine in Mills 50 on a Sunday afternoon. Very few people in Orlando can say that.
  • Local Tip: They have a big private parking lot at 1021 Lake Highland Dr.

Jaleo by José Andrés (Disney Springs)

  • When: Every day, 11:30 AM–5 PM, at the bar only. It’s called Sangria Hour.
  • The deal: $7 iced or frozen sangrias and Spanish wines, plus specially priced bites like tomato bread and chicken fritters.

Afternoon Weekend Deals (2 PM and Later)

Corner Chophouse (Winter Park, Hannibal Square)

corner chophouse in winter park, fl

Kaleidoscope Thornton Park (Thornton Park)

  • When: Every day, 4–7 PM.

The Broken Cage (Lake Eola, 101 S Eola Dr)

  • When: 5–7 PM on the nights they’re open. Right now that’s Thursday–Saturday, so Saturday is your weekend shot.

  • Good to know: There’s no kitchen, but you can order from the full menu at RusTeak, their sister restaurant just down the hall.

  • The deal: Special pricing on select cocktails and small bites.
  • How to find it: Walk into Talay at 861 N Orange Ave and look for the unmarked door. That’s half the fun.
  • Good to know: It’s 21+ after 9 PM.
  • Why go: Thai-inspired cocktails with fresh herbs and spice, in one of the moodiest rooms downtown. Do a Sunday night date: dinner at Talay, then slip through the door at 5….you won’t be disappointed!

Dragonfly Robata Grill & Sushi (Restaurant Row)

  • When: Every day, 5–7 PM.
  • Why go: It’s the most reliable weekend happy hour on Sand Lake Road. Get there right at 5, because the bar fills up fast.

All Day (and All Night) Sunday

Nomikai by Sushi Saint (ICON Park, I-Drive)

  • When: All day, every Sunday.
  • The deal: $3 off signature cocktails, $4 off wine by the glass, $5 craft beers, and food specials.
  • The scoop: This is the newest spot from the team behind Sushi Saint and Soseki, led by Michelin-starred Chef Michael Collantes. Its soft opening at ICON Park kicked off in late summer 2026.
  • Why it matters: A Michelin-level team with an all-day Sunday happy hour, right on I-Drive. Locals, this is the I-Drive spot that’s actually worth the drive.

The Courtesy (Winter Park, 1288 N Orange Ave)

bars in orlando
  • When: Sundays, 3–10 PM, which is every hour they’re open. Also Tuesday–Friday, 4–6 PM.
  • The deal: Discounted cocktails, beer, wine and bar snacks. Recent listings show about $8–9 cocktails, beer and wine from about $5, and $7–8 snacks.
  • The scoop: It’s Orlando’s original craft cocktail bar, now in Winter Park after leaving downtown.
  • Insider Tip: The Courtesy is on holiday hours through January 2, 2027, and it hosts the Miracle on Orange holiday pop-up. Ask whether happy hour pricing still applies during the pop-up before you go!
  • Good to know: It’s 21+, walk-ins are welcome, and reservations are recommended for groups of 4–8.

Steal My Plan: The Thornton Park Saturday Crawl

Everything here is close together around Thornton Park and Lake Eola. Park once and walk the rest.

  1. 12:30 PM: totoya sushi lounge. Build a $3 roll flight and grab a mule.
  2. 3:00 PM: F&D Cantina, on the same block of Central Blvd. Order a margarita and half-off apps.
  3. 4:00 PM: Kaleidoscope Thornton Park. It’s a short walk to Washington St for a bungalow porch drink.
  4. 5:00 PM: The Broken Cage. Walk over to Eola Dr for 25% off cocktails until 7. Get hungry? Order from RusTeak down the hall.

Sunday version (Mills 50 and Ivanhoe): Zymarium mead from noon to 4, then Santiago’s Bodega from 4 to 6, then wrap up with a glass at Quicksand before 7.

Pro Tip: Rideshare it. A happy hour isn’t a deal if it ends with a parking ticket or worse.

Local Tip: Do a Mills 50 double. Start at Death in the Afternoon at 5, then walk to Lorelei for a glass.
  • Voodoo Bayou + Roka Hula (Restaurant Row, 7525 W Sand Lake Rd). Two happy hours in one building.
    • Voodoo Bayou: weekdays 4–7 PM, plus Monday–Thursday from 10 PM to close, at the bar only. $7 cocktails, $8 Old Fashioneds, $9 bar bites and oysters (raw, wood-fired or fried).
    • Roka Hula: the tiki speakeasy hidden inside. Weekdays 5–7 PM, at the bar only. $7–9 mai tais, spicy margs and lychee martinis, bites under $10, $15 sushi rolls and 50% off wine.

  • Summer House on the Lake (Disney Springs). Park free in the Lime or Orange garage and make it a weekday treat. (You just may find me here on a Thursday…)

Happy Hour Rules Locals Know

me and a martini
  • Sit at the bar. At many spots (Bulla, Jaleo, Norman’s), the deals only apply at the bar or lounge.
  • Watch for service charges. Some spots, like Lamp & Shade (20%) and Voodoo Bayou (18%), add one automatically. Read the bottom of the menu before you tip again on top!
  • “Daily” doesn’t always mean weekends. Before you drive, check the hours on the restaurant’s own site or social media.
  • Look for the reverse happy hour. Santiago’s, Lamp & Shade, and Sushi Saint all run a second window at night.
  • Happy hour pricing usually isn’t available for to-go, and holidays or special events are often excluded.
  • Tip on the full price. Your bartender didn’t get a discount.
