Ready to ‘hopp’ into the Orlando Beer Spa?! I’m always on the lookout for new and fun experiences in Orlando. And when I heard Orlando has a ‘Beer Spa’, I was intrigued and had to see for myself what it was all about. Of course, I was skeptical. Thinking…is this just a gimmick to attract tourists?! But after experiencing this for myself, I’m so glad I did it! So, if you’re looking for a unique gift or want to treat yourself to a relaxing day…you must add this to your list of ‘Must-Do’! The Orlando Beer Spa is a unique experience that combines two of my favorite things: beer and relaxation. Yes, you read that right! While you’re soaking, you can enjoy a cold local beer from your private beer tap! (Or wine). Nestled in the heart of Florida, the Orlando Beer Spa is a first for Florida, and is the perfect place for those seeking a unique way to relax and unwind.
The concept of a Beer Spa might sound a little bit strange at first, but it’s actually rooted in ancient traditions. Beer baths have been a part of Czech and German culture for centuries, believed to have numerous health benefits. In fact, this Orlando Beer Spa was modeled after the Bernard Beer Spa in Prague. If I ever make it to Prague, I’ll be sure to visit it!
The Orlando Beer Spa offers beer soaking treatments for one to four people at a time. ($129-$299) This experience is wonderful as a solo experience, but as a girls day or even a romantic date would be lovely too. Each private spa room has two soaking tubs, in-room infrared sauna, chill hay lounge, full bathroom, and self-serve beer taps (wine on tap also) for use during your 60-minute visit. It’s recommended to soak for 30 minutes then use the sauna for 10-15 minutes, then relax in the hay for the last 15 minutes.
So you might be thinking you’ll get sticky soaking in ‘beer’….but that is not the case. The Beer Spa baths are filled with hops and barley, (not actual beer) ingredients known for their antioxidant and skin-softening properties. And I have to say my skin was super soft afterwards! Now, you might be curious about the beer that’s available. They offer three different beers on tap and they all come from a local brewery, Ivanhoe Park Brewing Company, and you can try all three during your 60-minute visit.

It’s nestled between a Dunkin Donuts and a smoke shop…..but don’t let that throw you off…once inside it’s a warm and welcoming space.
