It is a peaceful little pocket filled with local flora and colorful butterflies fluttering around, making for a nice, quiet transition back to reality after the loud roar of the airboat engine. (They also offer gem mining for a fee….which you & your littles might enjoy.)

You can grab world-class tacos from the 4 Rivers Cantina Barbacoa Food Truck, pick up some incredible quick-service barbecue from The Polite Pig, or split a few decadent slices at Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza. After lunch, take a leisurely stroll through the shops to beat the midday heat. You can check out the massive World of Disney store, hunt for unique keepsakes at the Marketplace Co-Op, or grab a fun cocktail from Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar to fuel your walk. It’s the perfect way to enjoy the Disney atmosphere at your own pace.
Option 2: Keep It Lively at Pointe Orlando
If you would rather steer clear of the Disney bubble and check out what is happening closer to the heart of the action on International Drive, make tracks for Pointe Orlando. This outdoor entertainment hub has undergone some fantastic updates recently and is packed with great energy.
It is a wonderful place to park, walk around, and find a lively spot for a late lunch or afternoon drinks. If you are in the mood for a vibrant, tropical atmosphere, you can swing by Cuba Libre for excellent modern Cuban flavors and great music. If you want a casual, high-energy spot to chat about the gators you just saw, The Hampton Social offers a gorgeous, breezy coastal vibe that is perfect for sipping a glass of frosé and sharing some appetizers.
Pointe Orlando is incredibly walkable, making it an effortless place to just wander, grab a bite, and enjoy a vibrant afternoon out on the town.
