If there is one restaurant name that felt like a sign to book a table immediately, it’s Four Flamingos. Tucked away inside the lush, tropical grounds of the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress, this stunning spot is celebrity chef Richard Blais’ love letter to sunshine-state flavors.
It has quickly topped my personal list of the absolute best Disney World area date night restaurants, beautifully balancing a retro-chic, upscale paradise vibe with a menu that is genuinely playful and inventive.

A Culinary Paradise Awaits: Four Flamingos, A Richard Blais Florida Kitchen
This has to be one of Orlando’s most beautiful restaurants! Although, it’s at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress, it’s not located inside the hotel….it’s actually outside.
You will need to walk through the hotel, outside around the pool, just follow the signs and enjoy the gorgeous scenery. It’s not a long walk, but you need to be aware it’s several minutes of walking.
They do offer complimentary valet parking for dinner guests, which is fabulous.
The Vibe: Upscale Retro-Tropical Paradise
The moment you walk through the doors at the Four Flamingos Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress location, you instantly feel the vacation energy. The decor is a gorgeous blend of mid-century vintage Florida meets modern luxury—think bright, open spaces, warm wicker textures, deep green fronds, and just the right amount of flamingo-pink accents.
It feels sophisticated but entirely unpretentious. It’s the kind of place where you want to dress up a bit for a special evening, but you’ll still feel completely comfortable laughing loudly over a round of drinks.
We started with cocktail’s: The Filthy Flamingo, Thai Cooler, Florida Ol’ Fashioned, and the Rum Burner (video below). All the drinks were top-notch and check out that bubble! I love dinner and a show!!

The restaurant’s interior design is a perfect blend of Florida elegance and whimsical charm. It feels like an elevated beach house…cozy, romantic, and enchanting. If you want a truly magical experience, I recommend being there at sunset, absolutely stunning!
But if you’re not impressed by the scenery, wait until the culinary creations come out. They are nothing short of works of art! Every plate that leaves the kitchen is a masterpiece in its own right. Prepare to have your taste buds and eyes dazzled as you enjoy the exquisite creations at Four Flamingos.
The Menu: What to Order at Four Flamingos
It’s easy for a restaurant tied to a famous name to skate by on reputation alone, but this Michelin recommended restaurant in Orlando completely backs up the hype. Richard Blais is famous for his culinary whimsicality, and the kitchen here delivers on that promise from starters to dessert.
Here are the absolute Four Flamingos menu highlights you cannot skip:
The Starters
- Oysters on the Half Shell: If you want some ultimate table drama, order these. They come served with a spectacular nitrogen-frozen hibiscus “pearl” that creates a gorgeous cloud of vapor across your table as it melts. It’s incredibly refreshing and a total showstopper.
- The Pork Belly: Delicious pineapple rum glaze with pickled pineapple and jalapeño chimichurri….amazing!
- Oxtail & Foie Gras Empanada: I’m a sucker for anything with Foie Gras and this did not disappoint.

The Main Course
- “Neptune’s Cut” Swordfish Prime Rib: This is my personal holy grail dish on the menu. The fish is unbelievably tender and packed with flavor. This was a highlight and a “must-eat” experience!
- The Shrimp Pasta: If you’re thinking you can’t get amazing pasta at a “seafood” restaurant you’re wrong!
- DESSERT—Baked Florida: This is a must! Frozen key lime pie, raspberry gelee, and flambeed meringue!

The Final Verdict: Is it Worth It?
