Garp & Fuss was established in 2017…and if you’re wondering about the name “Garp & Fuss”, it comes from head chef, Liz Zucco. Zucco has two sisters, and these were the childhood nicknames for the two. The restaurant’s fun name set the foundation for this charming place, and is has become a space that’s filled with a sense of community. (And great food!)
What can you expect at Garp & Fuss Winter Park, Fl?
We visited mid-week for an early dinner, without a reservation. (Want a reservation? Click here.) We waited about 5 minutes for seating in the atrium. The atrium seating is the most charming and romantic spot in the restaurant.
They have “inside” seating, as well as seats at the bar. They also have a back area with some high top tables, TV, and a pool table. The bar seating looked very appealing…I would happily visit during a day shopping trip on Park Avenue!
I absolutely love the vibe of this restaurant, it’s perfect for a romantic date night but charming enough for a casual lunch with friends. My choice would be atrium seating, so be sure to ask for that. Garp & Fuss offers a diverse menu that has something for everyone.
Whether you’re a fan of classic comfort food, like Mac & Cheese, or crave something more sophisticated, like Lamb Bolognese, this place has got you covered. We got a few starters: Clams & Bacon and the Jumbo Lump Crab Cake. For the mains: Wild Mushroom Orzotto with Shrimp and the Jack’d Up Chicken Parmesan. Everything was absolutely top-notch!
If you’re a cocktail drinker, you must try their unique cocktails. I got “Da Pink Cadillac” which is a Gin and St Germaine based drink. It was so good! Of course, they have a full bar and plenty of beers, from local craft brews to popular American lagers. And If you do find yourself waiting for a table or don’t want to sit at the bar, check out the lounge area above the bar. It has a wall-mounted TV, couches, chairs, and tables. Such a cute spot to enjoy drinks and small plates. It perfectly fits the vibe and atmosphere of this charming restaurant.
Garp & Fuss is not just a restaurant; it’s a Winter Park delight that combines delicious food, creative drinks, and a charming atmosphere that makes you feel a sense of community.
