When I’m in the parks, I’m always on the hunt for delicious food and snacks! This is a review of The Diamond Horseshoe in Liberty Square at the Magic Kingdom.
I remember going to the Diamond Horseshoe as a kid. It was a comedy/entertainment show that used to perform several times daily. The Diamond Horseshoe Review opened in 1971 and ran until 1986. But that show is long gone, unfortunately. Since that time it has been a variety of things, even sitting empty and unused for a period of time. So, I never really thought about going in, until recently. I’m glad I did!
They do take walk-ups, but I would recommend getting a reservation, I managed to get one the day before. A great thing about this restaurant is that it’s All-You-Care-To-Eat $42.00/$23.00 (ages 3-9) plus tax and tip.
The Diamond Horseshoe also offers plant based options as well as an ‘allergy-friendly’ menu. Just be sure to ask your server about it!
And I need to mention, this is the same menu that Liberty Tree Tavern in Magic Kingdom has. Both restaurants are identical with the food offerings, you just need to decide which setting you want to be in!
Most know that Magic Kingdom is a dry park, however some alcohol is served at the table service restaurants. The Diamond Horseshoe serves beer, wine, and some specialty cocktails! I got a beer and my son got the frozen lemonade. We certainly ate are fill and It was all very good.
This restaurant gets my approval! I won’t say it’s the best food in Magic Kingdom, but the service was fast, the food was decent, and it’s a comfortable place to have a break (and have a cold beer!). I will be back for sure! I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
