Every visitor hears about Restaurant Row Orlando. Every local has a love-hate relationship with it.
Yes, it’s a lot of steakhouses. Yes, parking at Dellagio on a Friday is a special kind of pain. But a few blocks of Sand Lake Road in Dr. Phillips pack more good dinners than some whole cities. And 2026 has changed the lineup more than it has in years.

This guide covers what’s actually open right now, what’s gone, where I’d send you, and how to eat here without spending your whole paycheck.
What (and Where) Is Restaurant Row Orlando?
Restaurant Row is the dining strip along West Sand Lake Road in Dr. Phillips, roughly between Turkey Lake Road and Dr. Phillips Boulevard. It’s about 10 minutes from Universal and the convention center, and roughly 20 from Disney.
It isn’t just one strip, though. Think of it as three zones:
- The Row itself (Sand Lake Road): the big-name stops like Eddie V’s, Ruth’s Chris, Seasons 52, Rocco’s Tacos, Chatham’s Place, and Saffron Indian.
- Dellagio Town Center (Via Dellagio Way): a quieter, more polished pocket with Fleming’s, Norman’s, and Dragonfly Robata Grill.
- The Marketplace at Dr. Phillips (Dr. Phillips Blvd.): the old-school cluster with Christini’s, Bartaco, Morton’s, and Bosphorous.
Local tip: Pick your zone first, then pick your restaurant. Driving between zones at 7 p.m. is how date nights die.
What’s New and What’s Gone in 2026
If you haven’t been in a while, here’s what’s changed.
Closed:
- Big Fin Seafood Kitchen in Dellagio closed on August 24, 2026, after almost 17 years. RIP to a lot of oyster happy hours.
- Roy’s is gone after about two decades in Plaza Venezia. Its space is now Sixty Vines.
New or reinvented:
- Vines by H (7533 W. Sand Lake Rd.) is the old Vines Grille & Wine Bar, rebuilt by the team behind The H. Expect steaks, house-made pasta, a cigar lounge and live jazz nightly from 6 to 9 p.m.
- Sixty Vines Dr. Phillips (7760 W. Sand Lake Rd.) has 60 wines on tap, shareable plates and pizza, a greenhouse room and weekend brunch.
- Domu Dr. Phillips is the second location of the Mills 50 ramen favorite. Same rule as the original: show up at opening or plan to wait.
- Voodoo Bayou brings Cajun-Creole food, strong cocktails and late hours right into the corridor. (And a second restaurant/bar called, “Roka Hula” hidden within it.)
- YH Seafood Clubhouse is an upscale Cantonese and dim sum spot in the Sand Lake area. It’s worth a look if you’re tired of steak.
On the horizon: The northwest corner of Dr. Phillips Blvd. and Sand Lake is expected to be under construction into 2027. The goal is to bring in more restaurants from outside the market. Expect traffic now and new options later.
Where to Eat on Restaurant Row (By Mood)
For the Big Splurge
- Eddie V’s: The classic “we’re celebrating” pick. It’s polished, lively and consistent.
- Christini’s Ristorante Italiano: Family-owned and on the Row for about 40 years. Old-school tableside service, and the white-tablecloth dinner your parents still talk about.
- Vines by H: The new pick for a grown-up night out. Go for the jazz, stay for the steak.
- Seito Sushi: Absolutely delicious.
For Date Night That Isn’t a Steakhouse
- Dragonfly Robata Grill: Sushi and small plates grilled over charcoal. It’s fun to share and it gets loud in a good way.
- Sixty Vines: Wine flights and small plates, and nobody’s judging you for ordering three flatbreads.
- Bosphorous: Turkish food with that famous puffy lavash bread. It’s a crowd-pleaser and a better value than its neighbors.
For Groups
- Sixty Vines: The room is huge, which makes it one of the easier places to seat six or more.
- Rocco’s Tacos: Tableside guac, a long tequila list and a vibe that’s loud and not sorry.
- Voodoo Bayou: Good when the group wants cocktails and a scene more than a quiet dinner.
For Cheap(er) Eats
Restaurant Row doesn’t have to cost $150.
- Bartaco: A casual vibe with delicious tacos and cocktails.
- Saffron Indian: Big portions and good value for the area.
- Domu: Ramen and wings for a lot less than a steak. (Dinner only during the week)
- Bento Asian Kitchen & Sushi (7335 W. Sand Lake Rd.): Quick-casual poke, sushi and boba when you just want to eat and go.
How to Do Restaurant Row on a Budget
I eat out a lot. So when I can save some money on good eats and drinks, I do!
- Go at happy hour, not dinner. Most happy hours run somewhere between 3 and 6:30 p.m. For example, Vines by H does happy hour daily from 4 to 6:30 p.m. with $10 classic cocktails, starters and flatbreads.
- Sit at the bar. Places like Ocean Prime and Fleming’s serve the full menu at the bar. You get the same food with less fuss and no reservation needed.
- Arrive early on Thursdays and Fridays. Bar seats at the busy spots fill up fast.
- Split a big plate. A shared steak plus two sides beats two entrées you can’t finish.
- Go on a weeknight. Monday through Wednesday is calmer, and it’s easier to get good service. Wednesday’s and Thursday’s are my favorite nights out…

Parking and Timing: The Stuff Nobody Tells You
- Dellagio: There’s a garage and surface lots, but Friday and Saturday nights fill up fast. Get there 15 minutes early.
- The Row: Most restaurants have their own lots or valet. Don’t try to walk between plazas across Sand Lake. It’s not a walking street.
- Rush hour: Sand Lake near I-4 backs up from about 5 to 6:30 p.m. Book for 6:45 or later, or come early for happy hour.
- Convention weeks: When a big show is in town at the convention center, the steakhouses fill with expense accounts. Book ahead or go somewhere else.
Is Restaurant Row Worth It?
Honestly? Yes, if you go in with a plan.
If you just show up and wander, you’ll end up at a chain you could find in any city. But if you pick the independents (Christini’s, Seito Sushi, Bosphorous, Domu), time it for happy hour, and try one of the 2026 newcomers, it’s one of the best dining strips in Orlando.
My perfect night on the Row is simple: happy hour at the bar at Vines by H, then dinner at Bosphorous. That way I get jazz and an amazing dinner with a bill I don’t have to hide.
Secret Tip: Feeling adventurous? Pop into Roka Hula speakeasy…hidden inside VooDoo Bayou.
